What is Bluetooth®?

Bluetooth® technology allows you to easily connect mobile phones, notebook or desktop PCs, handheld devices, digital cameras, headsets, printers and even a computer mouse over short distances (30 feet) without using a cable. Enabled devices send and receive information using radio signals. The technology was developed by the Bluetooth® SIG (Special Interest Group) promoter and member companies, so that mobile products could enjoy the freedom of wireless communication.

Why use Bluetooth®?

Bluetooth® connections allow wireless communication between devices within a range of about 10 metres, removing the need for unsightly cables and cords. And unlike infrared, you don't have to point devices directly at each other, or even Bluetooth®
have both devices in the same room. Bluetooth® can initiate connections automatically with paired devices, which makes the process even easier. And no, you don't have to pay for a Bluetooth® connection, no matter how much data you transfer. Bluetooth® is also highly regarded throughout the world for its effective wireless communication.
